Christmas is fast approaching and with that in mind, I have put together some of my favourite men's hairstyles to inspire you for the party season...
Sleek and sophisticated – sleek and sophisticated looks have been more popular than ever in 2021 and this will continue into the festive season where more groomed, polished looks will be a huge hit for Christmas parties. When creating this look I love teaming it with a deep side parting for even more of a statement finish. Products are also key when creating this look to create mirror like shine. After blow-drying your hair and straightening over to create a straight and smooth finish, apply a product that will tame frizz and flyaways and give your hair mega shine. One of my favourites is American Crew Pomade, which is perfect for creating smooth, shiny hairstyles and also giving your hair hold to allow the shape to stay in place all day/night long.
Volumised quiff – For men who like to make an impression and have their hair stand out from the crowd, a volumised quiff is perfect. With this look it’s all about the shape and volume and it’s important to firstly start by creating your quiff using your hair-dryer and a comb, taking your hair back off the face and creating your initial quiff shape. Then, you can use styling products to further mould your quiff and give it further volume and height. One of my favourite products for creating this look is American Crew Fiber, which you can apply into your hair prior to blow-drying to help with creating the style and after for long lasting hold and style control. Always finish by misting some hairspray through your hair to keep the style in place and to give the hair a touch of shine.
Messy texture – if you prefer a less polished appearance and want something a bit messier for the festive season, this hairstyle is a perfect choice and is very on trend. This look always looks best when paired with some choppy, textured layers and is a great way to give the appearance of thicker, fuller hair, particularly for those with thin hair types. To style, a salt spray like Label.M Sea Salt Spray is a must, which can be sprayed into damp hair and distributed with your fingers throughout your layers before being blow-dried or left to air dry to create a textured, edgy look with a matte finish.
