I started my career over 30 years ago and it has taken me around the globe. From working in Hong Kong as a stylist to celebrities, VIP’s and MTV’s resident hairdresser, to the USA, where I educated others on inspirational male grooming techniques, showcasing my eye for detail and accuracy. Returning from my travels I opened my salon in Essex, which provided me with an opportunity to share my dedication and passion for hairdressing and grooming with others as I built a large and loyal clientele and developed and nurtured an award winning salon and team.
I have regularly featured in magazines including Company, Glamour, Men’s Health, Sheerluxe Man and Attitude where I have shared my expertise and knowledge in regards to men's hair and men's fashion. I have also led the teams at many music and fashion events including V-Fest and Louder Lounge along with campaigns for Top Man, Essensuals and Office. I was one of the first hairdressers to realise how large the male grooming market was going to be and that's why I opened a grooming salon, which catered for my large and discerning male clientele offering a wide range of grooming services all under one roof.
My recent award wins include my secondMen’s Hairdresser of the Year at the British Hairdressing Awards in 2019 and second International win for the Men’s Commercial Collection of the Year at the 2020 International Hairdressing Awards in Madrid.
I am now developing my educational programme, mentoring and training hairdressers in the art of male grooming and have a regular column in Professional Hairdresser discussing not only men’s hairdressing and grooming but fragrance and fashion also. The year has only just begun for me and already it’s looking to be a stellar one.
